Lee’s Retreat is family owned and operated by Julie Waltman-Lee. Julie’s ancestors have lived in Brown County since the early 1800’s, and were some of the original settlers. She is a Brown County native, and has lived in the Brown County for most of her life. After living in California and Wyoming in the mountains for a time, she returned home to continue her education to become a nurse, get married and start a family. She now resides on a farm a few miles from town and enjoys living the “country life”. The natural landscape and changing of the season’s that bring her joy, will hopefully touch your hearts as well, while visiting Brown County.
